Works great!

Ive used Runkeeper since I first started running in 2012. Its the only app I have used consistently since that time. Ive never had any issues with it glitching, as other have stated. They are constantly adding enhancements to the app I didnt think about, but have come to love! Great app!

Just one problem

I like this app, my friends are on it, it plays my music and there are fun challenges. What i dont like it doesnt link to my pebble watch.

Excellent training

Love this app

Excellent Running App

Been using this app for a few years now. Its been quite helpful and accurate at tracking my workouts!

Great app but drains battery on long runs

We all use the app to track our runs and its great :) I have iPhone 6s and over six miles I noticed the battery gets pretty low. I wish it didnt really effect the battery. I even turned off all notifications and still was a drain. I love it for my 5 mile runs tho.

Undependable and unstable = useless

Way to go, Runkeeper. Youve broken my Apple Watch Move data again. I had a streak of 46 days going and now its broken because of your buggy, untested update. Ive been using this app for two years, and its let me down so many times I cant believe I am stuck using it. I am tracking mileage for a long walking project where my goal is 3000 miles. I completed that cumulative distance and the only regret I have is that I used Runkeeper. It crashes way too often, has no way of telling whether Ive stopped or started, has a convoluted user interface, and now is an abomination when using it with the Apple Watch. Why do I keep using it? Well, once you start using an app like this, it accumulates your data, and if you want to switch apps, you lose the proof that you actually walked those miles. Please, dont make the same mistake I did. If you use this app, and especially if you pay for it like I have, you will regret it. If I could give it less than one star, I would. Update: six months later and Runkeepers problems with Apple Watch continue. In short, using it is an abomination. It will keep the correct time and distance on the iPhone and then somehow add that together with what its recorded on the Apple Watch. Its just downright nonsensical. This is the worst implementation of a running app Ive ever seen. Do not waste your time or effort on this.

This is Amazing!!!

❤️

Good and easy to use.

I am a casual runner. This works great for me. Wish I could switch notifications from interval times to distances. Love that I can share with my daughter. Just starting to use it more for non-running activities. Wish the upgrade were a little less expensive.

Its ok...

Been using this app for a few months now. Quite inconsistent re: accuracy of # miles run. Additionally, since I use it simultaneously with Nike + (also free), I have to remember that Runkeeper does not automatically pause when you stop, so I must do so manually which is a pain!!

Run keeper

Great app. Been using it for a few years. Just with the go version was cheaper.

Great except on Apple Watch

Loved this app when I was just tracking with my phone but half of my reason for buying my Apple Watch was to track with that. I think Ive gotten the Runkeeper app to work on my watch maybe twice. Now, no matter how I start it it always crashes and I wont find out until its too late. So irritating!! Also, I swear I used to be able to set a playlist to be automatically selected from Spotify but that feature seems to have disappeared too.

Everything you need!!!

Love this app! It does everything I need and more.

Better than most

I quite like RK. The interface is user friendly and not so technical that newbies will be confused. The free version is quite good with the premium version offering a wider variety of training plans. I love the challenges and little prizes like discounts in the RK store or for Saucony products. I wish their were more flexibility with training plans. Because of my work schedule, I might need to do a given run a day early or a day late. The reschedule feature only lets you move the training plan by week, not by day. Would also love to be able to amend the schedule from iPhone and not just computer. Would like to see Fitbit integration, too.

Great activity keeper/goal tool

Ive been using Runkeeper for about a year now and as far as free apps go, its fantastic. It can be a little buggy when working simultaneously with music apps such as Spotify, but other than that, it is a great way to track mileage. There are also a number of goal setting features that I am just now using.

Great app!

Works great, and is easy to use.

easy to use

I have enjoyed this app while I trained for a couple half marathons this spring. Very convenient cool.

Disappointed

Ive been using Runkeeper for about 2 years and am currently a Runkeeper Go! subscriber. I recently started a new training plan that gives me 3 runs a week, with a new set each Sunday. I want to do my long run on the weekend, so I set run #2 as my first run of the week and poof! Run #1 is gone! Plans need more flexibility. I also have a TomTom watch that I have synced to my account so of course it records each run twice. I delete the Runkeeper record because the TomTom has more stats (HR, strides, etc) and now I "missed" a run and I cant assign the run my watch recorded to my workout plan?!?!?

Solid running app with lots of free features

Each update adds more functionality. Ive used it for years.

Great but GPS doesnt sync with watch

When I use the Apple Watch mileage tracker in tandem with Runkeeper, Rubkeeper always has me going a further distance than the watch. It makes me doubt the apps GPS capabilities. Otherwise a great app

Frustrating as he!!

Runkeeper occasionally puts a useless popup dialog over the workout screen. When I hit the pause button at the end of my run the popup prevented pause from working. My workout was off by a full 2 minutes because I didnt notice it hadnt actually paused. Why does such a fundamental feature — pausing or ending a workout — have to be such a chore? I’ll stick with my stopwatch..
