ASICS Runkeeper—Run Tracker 应用的评论

Absolutely terrible

I’ve been using this app for about 4 years and in that time they keep quietly deleting features. Now you have to pay the fee to see your total monthly and yearly activity data from previous years. They also made it harder to see your historical data. Removing those features will not make me inclined to make that subscription purchase but to remove the app.

Great iPhone so so Apple Watch

I love everything about the iPhone app. It’s super integrated with everything you can track your shoes. You can track indoors and outdoors overall it’s a wonderful experience on the iPhone, but I think the Apple Watch needs a new redesign.

THE RUNNING TEAM

GREAT

Súper App

Me gusta utilizar Runkeeper, es de mucha ayuda en mis caminatas diarias.

Very rare competitor

For my needs, Runkeeper is just what I need.

Latest Update

Awful. Free version I have been using for years suddenly provides substantially LESS of my past data available to see unless I want to pay.

My thoughts!

I have been using Runkeeper for going on 11 years one of the best things I've used for health ever! Im slowing down a bit but Runkeeper is the best incentive to keep me moving. Love it. !

Fantastic

Been using for two years. I just love using it . It provides the basic information I need

Horrible new update

I have used this app since 2017 and have tracked every single run I’ve ever done. The most recent update makes me want to switch. The new graph layout for your weekly mileage is horrible and now they locked the run comparisons behind a paywall!!! I am going to start looking elsewhere…

Deleted my account with no warning and lost over 12 years of data

Used my account one day and the next It was gone and support can’t provide an explanation

Completely stripped down app

Read latest reviews! The rating score is misleading especially after the latest “update.” It’s basically now just a marketing plow for ASICS. I’ve used the app for well over 10 years/11,609 miles and watched it get glitchy and greedy since ASICS bought it. They do not make compelling updates or have features that justify the price. Rather than realize the paid version lacks appeal, they took the lazy route and stripped down the app and made features that were available for 12+ years and put them behind a paywall. A more savvy customer focused company would have thought—customers don’t see value in the paid version or don’t like the price point. They would have re evaluated and done their homework. Instead, they just stripped off features and turned it into a useless app. Their approach says a lot about their company culture and disinterest in providing a solid product. I wish I knew they were going to strip it down so I could access all my stats and leave. I stuck with it because I had over a decade invested in it despite other apps being more reliable and less glitchy. I had a paid subscription when it was privately owned but ASICS just killed it. They’re constantly messing around with the app. I would recommend finding an app that is solid and reliable and doesn’t exist solely to push ASICS shoes on its users. It feels like an elaborate marketing scheme.

Best Running App

Amazing running app, great for marathons and tracking running progress, highly recommended for beginners.

Profit over community

Recent update is a money grab. ASICS had a $891.8 million in sales in 2024. Now features within the app that were free for the past 13+ years are behind a paywall. Profit over community. Switch to Strava. ASICS is only interested in profit.

Used to be great. No more

They put even the most basic statistics behind a paywall and the new graphics are poorly designed. Bring back the old Runkeeper!

Simply Motivating

Seeing and being able to track your progress keeps you focused on getting better everyday. This apps makes that possible. Been on it for years.

Why the graph?

I’ve used this app for years. GPS and data very easy to use and accurate. But why did they go away from a chart to graph, it’s difficult to read data.

Poor layout

Hate the layout of the updated version..please give option to revert back to old layout on the statistic screen

Please fix the app

I’ve used this app since 2016 and it was roughly in the same format and user friendly. The data was easily accessible and understandable. The latest update made everything incomprehensible. Can’t tell if the stat graph is showing this week or ? It used to show comparisons to prior month and years. Now it’s behind a paywall. Really? I understand paying for a more intricate analysis of data, but a simple stat?? I hope Runkeeper folks have read all the negative reviews and are working hard to fix this.

Great app, 1 flaw

I’ve used this app for years & I love nearly everything about it. If only you could set the audio prompts in smaller increments than each minute. This would be a HUGE boost for beginners or lower impact runners that want to alternate run/walk intervals.

Awful Mileage doesn’t work

Wrong mileage

used to be good

it used to be a great app but now they want to make me pay for it?? so stupid. that’s a great way to lose customers.

WAS good, now paywall for most features

I’ve used Runkeeper (free version) for years. Despite (more than just) occasional GPS anomalies, the free version had some nice features that made it worth keeping and using. The recent update changed that. Apparently not interested in having free loaders (like me) around, the developers have now moved all but the basic features behind the paywall. It is no longer worth using for me. If you are looking for yet another subscription to pay for, this may suit your needs. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere. There are better options out there.

My Stats Graph is trash

Recently changed from a comparison of workouts to some sort of weird graph that has no usable information. And now have to pay an upgrade for monthly stats. 😡 absolutely awful.

Removed data

Used to be able to view your running history but with the most recent update, it’s all gone - blocked behind a pay wall. I have been using this app for 5 years and now looking elsewhere.

App that gets worse over time

Putting behind a paywall what used to be free is not a good evolution for an app. Especially when almost no features have been added for several years. For the first time in 10 years I have been using this app I am seriously considering leaving it.

New format for data is bad

I opened the app and none of my history year over year and month over month was available to compare on the version I’ve been using for years. Please change it back!

Fantastic!

Does everything i need a tracker to do, gives me my splits after each mile as an audio queue, tracks very accurately, doesn’t heavily push some paid version of the app, love it.

Runkeeper

I have been using Runkeeper since October of 2013 and have over 14k miles on it. I have loved it until the latest update with the bar graphs. Please go back to the way it was!

Metrics behind paywall

They recently changed the app to put almost all of your metrics behind a paywall. Had to manually transfer all my runs over to Nike Run Club app. Not pleased

Nimble and effective motivator

Simple. Helpful journal of jogs, walks and runs.

New user interface for activity history is horrendous

and you can only see past monthly/yearly activities by paying for a subscription now! If Runkeeper does not correct this soon, I will start using a different app like Strava or Nike!

Not happy with change

I want my home page to return to old format. Like to easily compare weeks and months activity

New update

New update makes this app worthless unless you subscribe. Look elsewhere if you are looking to track your workouts.

Used to be great, now it is worthless

I have been using this app for years. But recently they removed the functionality to compare to anything but your most recent workouts. Find a better solution. This is worthless as is.

New UI is awful

I would be interested to know the names. Of the people who believe this new UI is wonderful. The new comparative look is terrible. Stop playing with MS Excel, and stick with plain and simple. That’s what I was paying to enjoy for years. Now, it’s gone.

New update is awful

Very disappointing update. Have used this app for 6 years, that will end now.

Used to be Good

Used to love this app, I used it ever run for YEARS. But recently they’re pinching for pennies. You can no longer compare your runs month vs month or year vs year without paying for the app. This data used to be included in the free version but apparently they decided to take that away for whatever reason. Sad day for RunKeeper, but I guess it’s time to find a new running app!

Greed

Being able to track progress was the whole point of the app. People don’t want to pay for every single app they use when there are free options available. I’m deleting my account.

Latest update removes features

Weekly, monthly and yearly comparisons are now only on the paid version.

Now only 3 stars with yearly change

Dissatisfied with the newest updates. All my stats for years are now gone and I do not like the new graphic display. Please bring back the previous stats. I used to love this and rate it 5 stars. Not anymore and now I’m starting to look for other apps that can display the stats through throughout the months and years since I compare and try to meet new goals. Frustrated and disappointed with the newest update of 2025.

Nope

Can no longer access data. Time to go after many years.

New update

I hate the new update- I’ve used Runkeeper for years and am now thinking I’m going to leave. I wish it would go back to the old platform. Runners are creatures of habit and whoever did this redesign clearly isn’t and doesn’t respect we all are. Frustrated

Change in amenities

I use this app every day, and have been for the past 2 years or so. until this past weekend I was able to see a chart of how many activities I have done in a week, along with my average speed and Miles’s over days/ months/ years. All for free. I typically view my stats for the week on Friday and when I opened the app today I come to find out this app has made all the amenities pay to use! This is ridiculous as it now would cost me 40$ just to see how many times I have ran this week. A feature that has been available for free for years. This change in feature availability is going to dramatically decrease the users on the app including myself if not fixed. Thank you

Quitting Runkeeper

You just took away the features I use so I’m going to find another running app

New update

Been a user of the app since 2010. I definitely do not like the new set up. Always liked the side by side comparisons of week to week etc, but now that’s gone. Now it’s some graph that really doesn’t explain much. Used to be a 5 star rating but I’m dropping it to a 3.

👎👎

I have used this app for 15 years. Without notice, this last update completely changed the interface that made it easy to compare my workout summaries and stats from the past week/month/year unless I pay for a subscription. I am sick of subscribing to everything so that I can live my life. I don’t understand why it’s necessary to remove long-standing functionality from your free service. But even if it is, not going is a heads up is inexcusable. You might say you notified us via your app release notes, but these were misleading at best—making it sound like we were getting an upgrade instead of a downgrade. I’m looking for a new service—preferably free, but if I HAVE to subscribe, it will definitely not be to this company that didn’t give long-term users the courtesy of an honest heads-up.

Good app

I like this app; been using it for many years. I would really like it to break down my splits by quarter mile, if possible. That would give me a better sense of my progress. Good app!

Disappointing Update

I assume you are trying to push membership, but I am disappointed that I can no longer see my stats together. Just not a big fan of the new interface. Also bummed that I can no longer go back to previous year’s stats and only see last year. Unless I’m missing something. I have three apps I use and while all my stats from when I started running are on Runkeeper, this may be the reason to move on.

Poor app upgrade feature

I don’t like the new graph feature on the front page of the app. It is too difficult to see the overall trend of your miles, elevation, pace, etc from month to month or yearly. Elevation is not correct. If this does not change back, I will look for a new tracking app.
